The Jackal Motorsports ECU & TCU calibration suite for the Audi B9/B9.5 S4, S5, and SQ5 3.0T EA839 platform was developed to do exactly that. Through extensive street and track testing, Jackal has built a calibration package focused on stronger acceleration, sharper throttle response, improved transmission behavior, and OEM-like drivability under normal use.
Available in Stage 1, Stage 2, and fully custom Stage 3 configurations, Jackal tuning transforms the EA839 platform while maintaining the refinement these cars are known for.
On 93 octane fuel, Jackal publishes gains of up to +67 WHP and +108 WTQ for Stage 1 vehicles, while Stage 2 configurations equipped with the proper supporting hardware see published gains of up to +102 WHP and +122 WTQ.
Unlike many tuning packages that simply modify transmission behavior, every Jackal ECU tune purchase includes the complete AL552 TCU calibration at no additional charge. The result is faster, smarter shift strategy, improved clutch behavior, cleaner power delivery, and a calibration package that works together as a complete system rather than separate parts fighting each other.
For customers pushing beyond bolt-ons, Jackal also offers custom Stage 3 tuning support for upgraded turbocharger setups and higher-output EA839 builds. Calibration strategy and final output will vary depending on turbo system, fueling, ethanol content, and supporting hardware.
Jackal currently cites a B9-platform quarter mile record of 10.29 @ 133 MPH, showcasing just how capable the EA839 platform becomes with the right calibration and supporting hardware.
