NEUSPEED Power Module EVO for the RS 3 8Y quattro (2.5L TFSI, EA855e DXHA engine, MQBe platform). NEUSPEED describes it as a plug-in module that works alongside the factory ECU, without ECU flashing.
According to NEUSPEED, the module monitors boost pressure, manifold air pressure and camshaft position and applies its own selectable power maps. NEUSPEED lists Stock, Valet, Touring, Sport and Race maps, switchable from a smartphone, plus an adjustable output setting to suit the vehicle setup, fuel grade and altitude. NEUSPEED also describes built-in safety routines that monitor sensor feedback, and says the module works in parallel with the factory ECU's fail-safes. NEUSPEED has not published technical documentation explaining how the module changes engine behavior, and ORT has not verified those functions or treated them as a guarantee of engine protection.
