JDY BMW G8X Single Turbo Kit M2 M3 M4
Got a question?
Don't be a stranger.
A complete single-turbo conversion for the BMW G87 M2, G80/G81 M3, and G82/G83 M4.
The JDY Single Turbo Kit combines a 316 stainless steel manifold, 4-inch downpipe, aluminum charge piping, and dedicated heat management with a range of Precision Turbo options.
From exhaust routing to coolant relocation and high-pressure fuel line clearance, the kit addresses the supporting hardware required for an S58 single-turbo conversion.
Technical Specifications
Exhaust Manifold
-
316 stainless steel tubing with a 42 mm outside diameter, 36 mm inside diameter, and 3 mm wall thickness.
-
CNC-machined, one-piece six-port flange.
-
TIG welded using Fronius equipment with internal and external argon shielding.
-
Flow design evaluated using ANSYS computational fluid dynamics simulation.
Turbo Options
Designed to accommodate multiple Precision Turbo configurations, including:
-
6670, 6870, 7275, and 7675.
-
7480 Sportsman, 8085 Sportsman, and 8385 Sportsman.
Turbo compatibility depends on the selected manifold and housing configuration. Confirm your intended turbo when ordering.
Exhaust Sealing & Hardware
-
Solid copper manifold gasket supplied in place of the factory multi-layer steel gasket.
-
Reinforced V-band clamps at applicable connections.
Downpipe
-
304 stainless steel construction with a 4-inch outside diameter and 2 mm wall thickness.
-
Two-piece design for easier installation.
-
Welded internally and externally with argon shielding.
-
Designed to connect to factory and aftermarket midpipes.
-
Factory oxygen sensor provisions and an additional bung for a wideband sensor.
Wastegates & Exhaust Routing
-
Dual Precision Turbo 46 mm dual-port wastegates on the left-hand-drive configuration.
-
Choice of recirculated wastegate routing or external dump pipes.
Oil & Coolant Plumbing
-
Oil feed line with a PTFE core, stainless steel braid, and stainless AN4 swivel fittings.
-
Oil return line with a PTFE core and black hard-anodized aluminum AN10 fittings.
-
Fire-resistant thermal sleeves for additional heat protection.
-
CNC-machined aluminum fittings and flanges with a black anodized finish.
Coolant Relocation & Catch Can
-
CNC-machined aluminum coolant relocation bracket with mounting provisions for the JDY oil catch can system.
-
Includes the brackets, hoses, bolts, quick-connect fittings, and wiring adapters needed for relocation.
An aftermarket oil catch can is required. The JDY catch can system is available separately as an optional add-on.
Charge Piping
-
3-inch aluminum charge pipes, TIG welded internally and externally.
-
Hard-anodized finish.
-
JDY fast-release Wiggins-style clamps at charge-pipe connections, eliminating silicone couplers at those joints.
-
CNC-machined billet throttle body flange replaces the factory plastic component.
Intake System
-
CNC-machined aluminum velocity stack.
-
Performance cotton air filter.
-
Optional silicone coupler to accommodate different intake configurations.
Heat Management
-
Custom 304 stainless steel shields around the valve cover, firewall, and electrical connections.
-
Ceramic thermal barrier coating on the turbine housing, exhaust manifold, downpipe, and wastegate dump pipes.
-
Dedicated shielding and coatings help limit heat exposure to surrounding factory components.
High-Pressure Fuel Line
-
Redesigned routing moves the high-pressure fuel line away from the turbine housing.
-
Rated by JDY for 350 bar operating pressure and tested to 450 bar.
-
Increased clearance helps reduce direct heat exposure from the turbo assembly.

Built Around the Complete Conversion
A single-turbo conversion needs more than a manifold and a larger turbo. JDY brings the exhaust, charge piping, fluid plumbing, coolant relocation, and heat management together in one package.
Multiple Precision Turbo options allow the configuration to match your power goals. Final output depends on turbo selection, fuel, supporting modifications, engine specification, and calibration.
