The factory high-pressure fuel pump can become a limiting factor when increasing ethanol content, moving to higher-output ECU calibrations or upgrading the factory turbocharger. Integrated Engineering’s HPFP Internal Upgrade Kit increases fuel delivery while retaining the original pump housing.
IE enlarges the factory 9.92mm piston to 11.68mm, increasing stroke volume from 448mm³ to 621mm³. The result is up to 38.58% more fuel volume than the factory pump, providing the additional fueling capacity required for supported ethanol and hybrid-turbo calibrations.
Each piston and cylinder is manufactured as a matched set and individually measured in-house. The assembly combines a DLC-coated tool-steel piston, nitrided tool-steel cylinder and lightweight titanium retainer for reduced friction, increased wear resistance and reliable operation under demanding conditions.

Installation
Installation requires disassembly of the factory high-pressure fuel pump and should be completed in a clean environment by an experienced technician. IE’s dedicated HPFP assembly tool is sold separately and is strongly recommended.
Estimated installation time: 2–3 hours.
