How it is built (GiroDisc)
- Two-piece, fully floating design: an aluminum hat carries a cast-iron disc, so the disc can expand with heat and self-center between the pads.
- Hat machined from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum; disc made from GiroDisc’s own cast iron with a curved-vane design that pumps cooling air through the disc.
- Made in the USA. Sold per pair.
