Whether you're looking for an Upgrade for your GTI, GLI, A3, or 1.8T Powered MQB Car, or have experienced a turbocharger failure on your Golf R or S3, the EQT IS38+ Turbocharger is a great option for you!
The EQT IS38+ features original size compressor wheel and turbine wheels as found in the factory IHI IS38 turbocharger which makes it an ideal replacement for your Golf R and S3 without any tuning changes required while gaining a reliability upgrade.
To add increased reliability over the original VW/Audi units we've upgraded the bearing system to include a 360° thrust bearing system for optimal longevity and support while under heavy loads.
What's Included With Our IS38 Turbo Kit?
The EQT IS38 turbo is a pre-assembled direct replacement for your factory IHI IS20 or IS38 turbocharger. Included is all the turbocharger and all hardware you need to get up and running.
When ordering, the turbo can be optioned to have a pre-calibrated waste gate installed to save you the hassle of swapping and recalibrating your existing wastegate.
At this time we do not offer a pre-installed diverter valve. You will need to reuse your current factory or aftermarket diverter valve from your IS20 or IS38 turbo.
